Sun Run Challenge

Join us for a unique running challenge paying homage to Karhu's roots. In 1983, Karhu sponsored a race in which participants ran from Sweden into Finland over the Tornio River. The Karhu team uncovered the original poster and have reimagined the concept to launch the all new Ikoni 2021. The pack’s colorways pay homage to the Finnish and Swedish flags, and the “Sun Run” pack honors the camaraderie found among runners regardless of nationality, background, race, and goals. 

To celebrate, we are putting on a sunrise and sunset run with a unique twist - the goal is to run the sunset run faster than the sunrise run. 

Details:

When: June 20th, The Longest Day of the Year

Sunrise Run: 6:00am at Bean Traders Coffee

Sunset Run: 8:30pm at Ponysaurus Brewing

Distance: 5K at sunrise, 5K at sunset

For joining us at both events, you will receive unique Karhu swag. If you complete the challenge by running the sunset run faster than the sunrise run, you will be entered to win a free Sun Run T-shirt. The fastest cumulative finishers (1st male and 1st female) will receive gift certificates for a free pair of the all new Karhu Ikoni 2021.
