CGBC Food & Friends 5K

The Chapel Grove Baptist Honduras 5K is now the CGBC Food & Friends 5K...Same location & course, just a different cause.

In January of this year, Chapel Grove Baptist Church began providing a hot, home-cooked meal one Saturday per month to anyone who will come! This is a very rewarding endeavor; however, we have fed as many as 100 people at a time, so you can imagine, it is a very expensive one! It is our prayer to not only provide a meal, but even greater than that, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ & shine a light for Him! Pastor Jake shares a short, uplifting, Christ-filled message after dinner where you are sure to be blessed! There is always an invitation to come to Christ....

Registration for this event will begin in late July and go through race day, with no price increases. We are able to keep the fee at $20 again this year and appreciate your faithfulness in making this event a success in the past. If you cannot run or walk, we will certainly accept any donations for our cause. Also, if you know of a business who may be willing to be a sponsor for our 5K event, PLEASE private message me and I will certainly reach out to them!
