Description
The Difference180 Recovery is hosting our 7th Annual Run for Recovery Awareness. The theme "Becoming Part of the Solution" will focus on what you can do as an individual to be a help in your community. Since the pandemic there has been an outbreak in drug addictions, suicides, depression and isolation. It is our mission to bring hope and healing to those who have been affected by these evil influences.
One of the key factors to help someone in recovery is to get them in a culture of a healthy "Family" or "Community". This is what we want to provide at the Difference 180 Recovery Meetings. We are a faith-based program.
There will be Finisher Medals issued out to all Registered Runners. Also for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for the 5K and 10K will be an additional medal issued out for each age group. Best Overall times will receive a trophy.
This year we have added a children's 100 yard dash. This will start around 10am. This is for children from 4-10 years old. No awards will be given for this race. However, we do have a special surprise for each of the finishers!
