Holiday Color Run

Grab your most festive holiday attire and lace up your running shoes because this holiday season, East McDowell Middle School will be hosting the inaugural Holiday Color Run on November 23 on the EMMS campus. The fun run will loop participants around the campus  two times to make the 3.1 miles, for the 5K course. Participants will go through several color stations along the course, ensuring you are full of red and green holiday cheer at the finish. The course has a wide range of terrain of road, grass, track, a small set of stairs, and a neighborhood. It maybe not be stroller friendly due to the grass and stairs. 

Participants will receive a short sleeve, Holiday Color Run shirt that you are encouraged to wear during the event so you are able to sport your holiday cheer. Participants will also receive a wooden finisher ornament at the finish line, and a packet of red or green color powder to start off your holiday festivities.  Participants must register before November 15 to guarantee their shirt. and size. This is a fun run, so it will not be timed. There will not be awards for winners, or for age groups. This is simplity a great way to come have a fun, festive time, and support our school. 

We will have holiday music,  a free ornament decorating station, and cookies and hot chocolate for sale for a small fee. 

Packet Pick Up: You May pick up you packet either Friday 4pm-6pm or Saturday 6am-8:30am in the East McDowell Middle School Commons area. Packets will not be held or mail if you are unable to come to packet pick up. 

All proceeds will go to East McDowell Middle School to help benefit our students and staff.
