Description
The 2nd annual North Cove Community 5K is hosted by North Cove Elementary’s Running Club. Running Club consists of third through fifth grade students. This race is an initiative to get our community outside, active and interested in competitive running. Please join us Saturday, September 18th, ready to run at 8:30 a.m. Please wear a face covering/mask until the race begins. We want to take extra precautions to make this a safe event.
The race is a beautiful, flat course for families, runners and walkers of all ages, beginning at the school entrance and continuing on American Thread Road.
Cost: $25 (includes Comfort Colors t-shirt and custom medal for top 3 finishers in each age division) Elementary age students run for free but will not receive a shirt unless registered online.
All proceeds will go to the school’s general fund, which provides much needed classroom supplies for students and teachers.
Registration- online until Friday, September 17th. Same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and may not include a t-shirt.
Awards and Age Groups
Top Overall Male and Female will receive a special award.
Top 3 Male/Female in the following age groups: 5-7, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
