Description
The funds raised in the Reidsville YMCA’s annual Turkey Trot race benefit the community by contributing to the Y’s Programs and Annual Giving Campaign. The Annual Giving Campaign provides financial assistance to those in our community who otherwise could not afford YMCA programs and services. Funding provides scholarships for memberships, swim lessons, sports and child care, creating opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities regardless of their ability to pay. When you support the Turkey Trot, you’re doing your part to build belonging and strengthen our community—and a strong community is good for everyone.

We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Reidsville Family YMCA Turkey Trot.
Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone setup. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers!

GPS Progress Alerts
- Receive continual progress updates as you complete your goal.
Live GPS Tracking
- Remote spectators can track your progress live in a map view. You can also track others.
Send-a-Cheer
- Receive supportive audio cheers from remote friends & family.
Virtual Results (virtual events only)
- Enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results.
Virtual Race Instructions
To complete your virtual race and receive your shirt, follow these steps:
- Run your 5k at a place and time of your choosing.
- Track your time with a watch or fitness app.
- Report your time on our results page by clicking "Submit Virtual Results" at the top of the page. Results can be submitted anytime between November 4th and November 11th. Don't forget to share your virtual race selfies too!
Participant Information
- Long sleeve t-shirts are provided for participants who register before October 30th. Additional t-shirts
available for purchase for $10 each at www.reidsvilleymca.org/turkeytrot. - Download RaceJoy app, find Reidsville YMCA Turkey Trot and follow set-up directions to track your
run/time, if running Virtual 5-K. - Participants not using the tracking app, can manually add their times here:
