Jingle Glow Run

Location: Statesville Soccer Complex 

Registration begins at 5pm. Race starts at 6pm.

Jingle Glow Run (5k and 1 mile walk) benefiting Cheryl Coblentz lung transplant and associated costs. Cheryl, a Statesville resident, was diagnosed with an unusual form of Rheumatoid Arthritis in late 2017. It has affected her lungs and her joints. By May 2018, she was on oxygen 24/7 and was no longer able to work in her career and passion as an oncology nurse. In August 2019, specialists with Duke Medical Center determined she was nearing her transplant window. Cheryl does have insurance, but unfortunately there are many out of pocket expenses that will not be covered. Cheryl and her husband, Wayne, will have to relocate to Durham for 6 months to be on call at the transplant center. Wayne will be her primary caregiver and will not be able to work in his passion of helping others with warranty repair and requests at America's Home Place, Inc.  

Please join America's Home Place, Inc., McLelland's Racing Team, Builders Wholesale Flooring and Stutts Grading & Land LLC in this benefit run for this special family to help towards these expenses for a double lung transplant for Cheryl.
