Break the Chains 5K

Please join us for a Run/Walk through Wanchese in the seventh annual Break the Chains 5k to raise money for substance abuse recovery! Money raised will go towards the costs of attending a drug treatment center for individuals in Dare County. We will also be holding a pancake breakfast inside the Wanchese Community Building before the race to raise funds for Haiti Mission. Register by September 22nd to receive a free Break the Chains 5k T-shirt! This event will be organized by Bethany United Methodist Church. Come have some fun and support a great cause!

On-site registration/Check In: 7:30am-8:00am

Race Start Time: 8:00am

Event is rain or shine and will be held unless there is lightning in the area. There will be no rain date or refunds as this is a charity event.
