2024 TriSpan Cancellation Options
We understand it is both frustrating and disappointing that we were forced to cancel Tri-Span 2024 because of severe weather.
Please keep in mind, your race fee is used to cover many expenses that have already been incurred on our end and can not be returned for a refund. This includes shirts, medals, police, permit fees, bibs, timing chips, ice, dumpsters, park rental fees, etc. This is why we are unable to issue refunds.
However, we are providing 4 ways that you can use your 2024 TriSpan Registration. Please select your option below by Wednesday, July 17 by 11:59PM.
Please know that our team shares your frustration and disappointment, but we have been inspired by the many participants' creation of fun and innovative versions of TriSpan.

Description
Be part of one of the oldest and most iconic races in Wilmington, NC & join us for the annual Tri-Span 5K, 10K & Livestrong Mile.
Both 5K and 10K courses wind through historic downtown Wilmington and along the picturesque Cape Fear Riverwalk which hugs the bank of the Cape Fear River. The 5K is an out and back course through downtown Wilmington. The 10K course is what makes Tri Span such a unique race. Runners will have the opportunity to run the three downtown bridges. The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge will take runners across the Cape Fear River. The Thomas Rhodes Bridge will give runners a birds eye view of the USS North Carolina and the downtown Wilmington riverfront. Last, the Isabell Holmes bridge will cross back over the Cape Fear River and bring runners back into downtown Wilmington and to the finish line.
If you can't make it person, but still want to be part of the fun join the Virtual Event and run your 5K or 10K anytime and anywhere.
Back by popular demand - the LIVESTRONG MILE. Join us as we honor friends and family whose lives have been impacted by cancer. This is a non-timed 1-mile walk or run and we invite everyone to participate.
Presented by our friends at Maus, Warwick, Matthews, and Co
