42nd Annual Avalon 5 Mile Run and 2 Mile Walk

Race Day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:00am at Avalon Community Hall.  

Your donation is very helpful to CONTACT Cape-Atlantic, especially at this time given the challenges of providing interrupted services in the environment of isolation. We count on support from those who share the belief that a check in call can reveal a health problem that might have gone unnoticed; those who believe a conversation can reduce loneliness and isolation.

Enjoy the challenge of a summertime run at the Jersey Shore.  You have three options to participate.  You can participate in the 5-mile run or if running isn't for you, we have a non-competitive 2-mile walk option. We will also offer a virtual option this year and you can do this on your own time frame.

5-Mile Run: $30 pre-registration fee. $25 early bird pricing if registered by May 1st. All proceeds benefit Contact Cape-Atlantic

2-Mile Walk: $25 pre-registration fee. All proceeds benefit Contact Cape-Atlantic

Virtual option: $25 All proceeds benefit Contact Cape-Atlantic

The usual course is five miles run through the streets of Avalon, NJ starting at Community Hall (30th & Avalon Avenue) and finishing on the boardwalk with three water stops along the course. 

No Early packet pick-up or in person registration available.  Day of registration and packet pick-up begin at 7am.

T-shirts to first 175 pre-registered and while supplies last.

Proceeds benefit CONTACT Cape-Atlantic, a 501(c)(3). CONTACT Cape-Atlantic provides telephone reassurance and community support for older adults, people with disabilities, and those who are lonely, living alone or feeling isolated from their community.
