Join us on Sunday, October 10th, 2021, for the 9th annual Rock the River Half Marathon at Ross Dock in the Palisades Interstate Park, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, to experience the majestic Palisades as you run for a good cause and conquer the cliffs! Proceeds from the races support the Palisades and its parks!

The Palisades Half Marathon is a challenging but rewarding race. Run along the historic Henry Hudson Drive—one of the nation's first recognized scenic roads—as you ascend and then descend the cliffs. With an elevation change of over 1200 feet, this course may be tough, but the setting makes it more than worth it! *USATF-NJ SANCTIONED AND CERTIFIED*

RACE-DAY TIMELINE

• 7:30 AM - RaceSite Opens
• 7:30 AM -­ 1:30 PM: Bike check opens/closes
• 7:30 AM: Athlete check-in begins
• 8:25 AM: Parking at Ross Dock Closes
• 8:45 AM: Registration and packet pickup closes
• 8:40 AM: National Anthem
• 9:00 AM: Half marathon begins
• 12:15 PM: Half marathon awards ceremony
• 12:30 PM FINAL FINISHER

Age Group Awards three deep for 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+

SWAG

A high-quality short sleeve tech tee is guaranteed to all pre-registrants. 
A large custom finisher's medal will be presented to all who complete the half marathon.

AMENITIES

Digital timing, water stops, music, post-race refreshments, restroom facilities, and more. 

Packet pickup will all be bag-free, in an effort to be green and reduce waste. Do not expect a bag. You will be handed your race shirt, race number, and safety pins (if desired), which you can pocket.
