The 2020 Dumpster Fire Race

Another virtual race? YUP - one more to end this crazy year... THE 2020 DUMPSTER FIRE RACE! The perfect description of 2020. We all had our challenges and setbacks - and for many of us, running/hiking/walking is the one consistent activity that kept us moving forward in 2020. Let's celebrate the highs and lows of the year with one more virtual event. Register by January 30, 2021 and then get out there to complete your distance the trails, roads, treadmill, your living room or your backyard! All registered participants will receive a handcrafted wood medal of - yup, you guessed it -- a dumpster fire! Participants can self-submit their results using the provided link. Runners/Hikers who complete a 100 Miler will receive a handcrafted buckle! (The 100 miler must be completed in one shot).

We all had races that were canceled this year. Many of us ran those distances on our own! If you ran a race on your own this year, you can totally sign up for this event and use the wood medal to commemorate the race you did on your own! So for example, if you ran a 100 mile race around your neighborhood on your own in November, you can sign up for the Dumpster Fire 100 miler and receive the buckle!

This event is hosted by Sassquad Trail Running in New Jersey, USA. We are a community of sasquatch-lovin' runners and hikers of all ages and paces. Every run is a trail party!
