Description
Willow Running is super excited to combine forces with the DeRuyter Volunteer Fire Dept. to offer the 45th Annual Tromptown Half Marathon & 5K event. You will have the choice of running the traditional Thursday night Tromptown 5K or the Tromptown Half Marathon on Saturday morning. Interested in running both? This well-established event with incredible tradition will also include the DeRUYTER CUP Challenge.
5K & Half Marathon finishers will receive finisher medals.
Both events take place in conjunction with the DeRuyter Fireman's Field Days (Thurs-Sunday) so bring your family, stick around post-race for all the good old-fashioned fun.
All Half Marathon participants/finishers will receive a custom tee shirt, custom Dalmation socks, finisher medal and a food ticket for a free pancake breakfast post run on Saturday.
We have the awards for the Tromptown half marathon ready! We will be awarding Fleet Feet Gift Certificates to 1st overall M/F- $50, 2nd overall M/F $25 & Third overall M/F $15 and for our first Master M/F $20 gift certificates to Dicks Sporting Goods!
COURSE MAPS
PACKET PICKUP
THURSDAY, AUGUST 8th 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the race event finish line area on Mechanic St. (DeRuyter, NY) in front of the DeRuyter Fireman's Field Days. Open to all participants including those running the half marathon on Saturday.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 10th 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM at DeRuyter High School on Railroad St. (DeRuyter, NY).

Run both the 5K and Half Marathon and you will be rewarded with the inaugural DeRUYTER CUP - A quality custom metal cup that will be great way to show off your accomplishment.
