Dirt Cheap Trail Races
Since 2008, join us for this super-cool, mid-week, low-key, fun trail race highlighting different parks around Monroe County!
Dirt Cheap Trail Race was a brainchild of ours in 2008 right after the stock market crash. People were in tricky spots financially and we wanted to provide an economical avenue for people to enjoy a unique event in our parks while running or walking. Dirt Cheap has introduced thousands to our park trail systems and we pride ourselves on bring fun, challenging courses to life for you.

Series Participants will receive ONE BIB for the entire Series. We will offer concierge service after each race so you don't risk losing your bib for the next race. We will hold it and bring it to the next race for you. Use this Service!! Otherwise it costs $5 Bib replacement fee.
PLUS Race Logoed Tee available to order for Series Participants until May 8th - $20
The shirts will be handed out starting at Race 3
By registering for this event you are acknowledging that the date, time, location, and distance of the race may be changed, switched to virtual, or canceled at any time as deemed necessary by the Race Directors due to circumstances beyond their control. In the event that any of these scenarios happens, there will be no refunds, transfers, or deferrals allowed unless otherwise stated.
Race Shirt
Tee Offer for Series Participants Only at $20 plus tax. Offer ends when series registration ends on May 7th. Shirts will not be handed out until the 2nd race.
The Course/Parks
The Course: Follow the pink flags, not the person in front of you! Distances vary between 3.5ish to 4.5ish miles depending on park/terrain/course itself.

- Race 3 - Wednesday, July 24, 2024 - Black Creek Park - Woodside Lodge - Please Do Not Park on Grass!!
- Race 4 - Wednesday, August 21, 2024 - Mendon Ponds Park - Stewart Lodge
Trail Rules
- Follow the Pink Flags, Not the Person in Front of You. If you Get Lost it is Your Fault.
- No Littering
- Stay Upright
- This is a cupfree zone, carry your own hydration.
- Use etiquette when passing and being passed. For example if passing on the left, say "On Your Left". Likewise if passing on the right. Support each other and be nice to each other on the trail.
Packet Pickup Info
Series participants will get ONE BIB NUMBER for the entire series. We will offer concierge service after each race so you don't risk losing your bib for the next race. We will hold it and bring it to the next race for you. Use this Service!! Otherwise there is a $5 cash bib replacement fee.
Race Day Packet Pickup On-site:
- 5:15pm-5:50pm - Packet Pickup
- 6:00pm - Race Start
There is no on-site day-of Registration. Please plan accordingly.
