Do you need some assistance in training for a 5K? Are you new to running? The Medved Training Group can help. Whether you have never completed a 5K or you are looking to improve your times, our training program can help you accomplish your goals. There will be two group workouts each week and we will provide you with a weekly training plan. All group workouts will be conducted with a fun/supportive atmosphere.
Our 8-week Spring 5K Training Group is tailored to your individual needs with personal coaching and encouragement.
In addition to training there will be discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, nutritional needs, goal setting, strength training, stretching, race preparation, recovery, and more!
The group will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. We will meet at various locations in the Rochester area. We know that running is just one aspect of your very busy life and we do not expect that you will be able to attend every session! Weekly training plans will be provided for you.
The Spring Training Group begins on April 28, 2021. Registration will be limited per NYS Public Gathering guidelines.
