Shadow Stride

St. Jude CYO is excited to announce our 4th Annual Jaguar Shadow Stride Charity 5K and Family Fun Run on Saturday, July, 30th, 2022. CYO is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides sporting opportunities for students throughout Lorain County. This year's race will be benefiting The David Palcisko “D-Money” Helping Hands Scholarship (https://keeonsports.com/introducing-the-david-palcisko-d-money-helping-hands-scholarship/). David Palcisko was a young man, only 15 years old, with his whole life ahead of him.  His family had plans to set up a scholarship prior to David's passing, but once the unexpected happened, they decided to pivot and continue the scholarship in his honor.  This scholarship will benefit  St. Jude School, St. Edward High School, North Ridgeville High School, and their respective athletic departments. Please let's spread the word, donate what we can, and make this our biggest and most successful charity race yet!

Location: Lorain County Community College- Roads around campus. Fast and flat measured 3.1 miles!

Event Timeline:

7:30 AM - Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration
8:00 AM - Shadow Stride Kid's Dash
8:30 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run Starts
8:30 AM - 5k Starts
10:15 AM - Awards and prizes
