Hubbard Cross Country Fun Run (Virtual Race)

The Hubbard Cross Country Boosters are excited to announce their 1st ever Virtual Run to support the Hubbard HS and MS Cross Country teams.  It will run July 6th thru the 31st.  Participants can run their virtual race anywhere and submit the results to hubbardxcboosters@gmail.com.  Anytime you run that distance at a better time, submit the new time.  In theory, you can run each event you choose up to 26 times and submit 26 results if you improve each time.  Times will be accepted on the honor system, apps, GPS watches, etc. up to 11:59 pm on July 31st.  Final results will be posted by August 2nd.

We are inviting participants of all ages and skill levels to walk, jog or run to the finish line. Share your passion and a bit of healthy competition with each other and our runners.  Our hope is that this will encourage our Cross Country athletes to build a love for running and base mileage before official training starts on August 1st.  With that in mind, this virtual race will feature:

1 mile fun run for Elementary Ages

2 mile Run/Walk (to compete with the Middle Schoolers)

5K Run/Walk (to compete with the High Schoolers)

10K Run/Walk if you are extra adventurous

All who register for the 2 mile, 5K and 10k prior to July 20th will receive a T-shirt and Finisher Medal. For the Elementary 1 mile, each participant will receive a finisher medal, however shirts are available for $10.

Our student athletes also know how important it is to serve and connect with our community.  We strive to continue to help guide this by partnering to share 10% of the proceeds with our community food pantries.
