Description

HOW'S THIS WORK?

Race Across Ohio "SUMMER 2021" allows you to go on a virtual running road trip.  Submit your miles daily to update the leaderboard and virtually track your progress on a map. We're CHALLENGING you to take on a challenge that will take you across the state of Ohio from one point to another.  We have multiple road trips for you to choose from, as short as 26.2 miles up to 470 miles!  You've probably driven these before, but have you run it?!!  All participants receive a custom race bib, FINISHER MEDAL, and a race shirt. Now's the time, get out and Race Across Ohio!
(YES, if you sign up now you can count your miles you have previously done starting in June.)

How Does This Virtual "Race" Work?
1 - Register
Sign up for the race "challenge" you want to participate in, here on the RunSignup registration page.

2 - Run
The next step is to run the race "challenge" you signed up for between now and June 1.  Since this is a "Virtual" event, you can run wherever and whenever you want (running the actual route on the highway is prohibited). You can run the distance all at once, or break it into multiple runs on different days.  Remember, Virtual = Flexible.

3 - SWAG
You will receive an email letting you know when the SWAG (Stuff We All Get) will be mailed to you. Or if you're located in Lake County Ohio you can pick up at Second Sole Mentor. We will ship out multiple times, but the first shipments won't go out until the end of August.

4 - Results
After completing your "Race", please post your results to this web site, using the Results link at the top of the page.  If you are breaking your run into multiple days, you can go into the Results and post your daily mileage.  This will update you on the leaderboard and track your progress. There are no awards for our virtual races, as everything is on the honor system when posting race results.

5 - Upload Pictures to Social Media
After completing your race and posting your results, feel free to post to our Facebook page a picture of yourself with your bib on, your running partners, your gps watch, etc. https://www.facebook.com/RaceAcrossOhio and Instagram account @gcxc_racing
