The Leftover 4ish Mile Relay

Thanksgiving is a day for Turkey, homecooked food, family, and football. And maybe a nap. And then comes leftovers galore. You'll be eating turkey and mashed potatoes in various forms for days! 

As runners, we all have plenty of clothing and shoes that are "leftover" from prior seasons or no longer see the wear we thought they would. 

As race organizers we always have extra shirts, medals and awards when a race is completed. We've accumulated a lot of "leftover" swag over the years and we thought we might do something fun. So we came up with the Leftover Relay!The concept is pretty basic: we have leftover race numbers, race shirts, and medals from events over the past few years. You pay $10 to participate in the Leftover Relay, and when you arrive you'll get your choice of a race shirt, and when you finish, you'll get your choice of a prize.

*This is a 2 person relay race, each person will run 2ish miles
*There are no age groups or timing, wear your watch.
*This is strictly for fun (and so we don't have to keep storing this ish in our garage)
*Registration is open 8:30am, race begins at 9:00ish--Registration is at Bodyworks Fitness Studio
*Race starts and ends at the Log Cabin on Church Street across from the Post Office
*No water stops, bring your own water and friends, we don't provide either one
*Easy, flat, out and back poorly marked course-"run at your own pace/risk"
*If you don't have any friends, or you just really like to run, don't worry; we will let you run 4 miles by yourself!
*If you would like top pick from the leftovers, come early!
*Same day as Olde Fashioned Christmas
