Miles for Missions: Project Guatemala

A fun trail 5k at The West Woods park! (part of the Geauga Park District)
Race Info:
- The course will be open at 7:30AM for warm up's/inspection of the route.
- Packet pickup begins at 7:30AM and ends at 8:45AM.
- Please note this a public space and although we have the rights to the pavallion, the trails may have non-racers on them.
- The trails are wide and terrain is fairly safe, but please wear appropriate shoes and gear for trails.
- Fruits, breads, assorted bakery, coffee, water, juice will be availiable to all runners after the race.
- Stick around after for awards for top 3 overall male and female, and top 3 age groups (12 & under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-55, 56-64, 64+)

Who does it benefit?

In July of 2019, over 30 adults between two local churches will be traveling to San Cristobal, Guatemala to do physical work that will benefit the development of the communities health needs. By taking part in this race you get to be a part of the mission through your financial support that directly impacts the life of a family in Guatemala!

100% of the proceeds from the race support the construction and furnishing of a 16' x 20' home, assisting with community feeding programs and assisting in medical and vision clinics in San Cristobal, Guatemala.

This is a joint effort between Mayfield and Chagrin Falls United Methodist Churches.
