Run for ONE Adoption Benefit
Adoption is an expensive mission that requires patience, sacrifice, and a village of prayer, love, and support to provide a forever home for ONE child. Join us in supporting ONE family in their journey to bring their child home from Africa ONE run, or walk, at a time.
All proceeds from this 5K/10K run/walk event will go to the Halligan Family's adoption fund. Each finisher will bring home a piece of Africa to show our appreciation for your generous support (while supplies last)!
Meet the Halligan’s
“Hi, we’re the Halligans, a family of five soon to be six! As children, Zach and I were exposed to the reality of brokenness and poverty around the world. We both had opportunities to spend an extended period of time in Africa. Those experiences led us to our decision to adopt. There’s a quote that says, “…orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names…see their faces…hold them in your arms. But once you do everything changes.” That was true for us. After playing with, cuddling and rocking babies who go to sleep with no one to call their own we knew we could offer hope and a family to one, now two, of the 153 million orphans. We currently have two biological children and one daughter adopted from Uganda. This time we will return to the place I left my heart ten years ago, South Africa. Thank you for joining us on this journey to bring our child home.”

RACE DETAILS
Start & Finish: The 10K and 5K start at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 26th, 2015. The race will start and finish from the Dallas Church parking area located at 450 SE Washington Street in Dallas, Oregon. There will be parking attendees available to direct traffic upon arrival.
Packet Pick-Up: Race day packet pick-up will be available from 8:30 am – 9:15 am.
Course: The 10K and 5K course will be marked with arrows and volunteers to direct you along the way.
Aid Station: There will be an aid station available at the finish area. Water and a small snack will be provided.
Restrooms: There will be portable restrooms available at the start/finish area.
Strollers: We welcome strollers. Please be considerate of other runners/walkers and allow them to pass.
Dogs: Please leave dogs at home, they will not be allowed on the course.
PARKING
There will be two parking areas located in proximity to the race. Please look for the parking lot attendants to help find a spot.
