Heroes Stay Home / Kids Virtual 3K & 5K

Just because we have to stay home, doesn't mean we can't do something to make a difference!  In these difficult days, let’s help encourage our kids stay healthy& active! We can teach them what it looks like to come together… in the midst of staying physically apart.  Kids of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun!

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race can be run anywhere. You can run, walk, hike, even crawl, the race distance wherever you want. You can run/walk indoors on a treadmill or around your neighborhood.  Just record your mileage and submit proof to us for your special finisher's dog tag medal & tshirt!  All race swag will be mailed 1 week after race day. 

How does my participation make a difference?

100% of profits will be donated to Meals on Wheels. For 50 years, Meals on Wheels has been meeting the social and nutritional needs of older adults in our community. They serve and deliver delicious and nutritious meals in Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties to the homebound elderly population. They depend on more than 5,600 volunteers annually to help us serve and deliver meals. As you can imagine, recent events have placed a huge demand on their offerings.
