 The purpose of the Hershey Food Bank is to serve the Derry Township community by providing food and assistance with the temporary needs of families and individuals in financial distress. Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach is an all volunteer 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Hershey Food Bank Board oversees the operations and maintenance of the Hershey Food Bank located at 120 East Derry Road, Hershey Pa, 17033. All proceeds from the “For Pete’s Sake” 5K will go towards new landscaping and garden beds for the Food Bank building.

Pete Judd, my grandfather, was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. August 13th, 2015 would have been his 80th birthday. Pete was a Boy Scout himself who went all the way to Life Scout rank. Although he never completed an Eagle Scout project or became an Eagle Scout, I know he would be very proud of me completing this project for the Hershey Food Bank.
