Leetsdale Snowflake Classic

Join us for the 7th annual Leetsdale Snowflake Classic 5k run and 2 mile walk. All events are open to adults and children 16+ years old. The 5k will be chip timed by GXCX racing. The 5k will start promptly at 9:00am and the walk will start shortly after. 

Kid’s Fun Run begins at 8:45 AM at the corner of Beaver and Ferry Streets near Henle Park, where runners ages 7 and under will run to finishers chute. No charge for junior runners, but come to registration and get your junior t-shirt compliments of Chvasta European Skin Care.

The 5K Run begins at 9 AM in front of Henle Park and meanders through historic Leetsdale and along the picturesque Ohio River before heading back to Henle Park where you can pick up some refreshments, including hot chocolate, Gatorade and bananas or oranges. A water stop is situated near the mid-way point.

The Leetsdale Snowflake Classic is brought to you by the Leetsdale 4th of July Committee. All proceeds go towards the Leetsdale 4th of July Celebration and in 2022, we are planning to go BIG! Here is a little taste of what we have planned:

• Leetsdale Carnival- Fun for all ages, from carnival rides to games and snacks, who doesn't love a carnival?
• 4th of July Parade- 2022 is going to be the year of the parade as we are celebrating our 75th annual event. We will be expanding the number of bands and performers, as well as asking members of the community and local businesses to build floats to be featured in the parade. 
• Fireworks- Would it be a celebration without fireworks? 

Our goal is centered around bringing people together, encouraging community, and promoting wellness.  As a participant in the Leetsdale Snowflake Classic you will not only be supporting a healthy, community centered event, but also all of the events linked to the 4th of July Celebration that occur throughout the year. 

Long-sleeve race t-shirts are guaranteed to all racers registered by Oct. 20th. Shirts are available to runners registering after this date as supplies last.
