Description
Race Purpose: PA Rhino Conservation Advocates (PARCA) welcomes you to our 4th annual Run for Rhinos! We missed seeing you all at the zoo last year and we are not going to let COVID keep us from another race to save rhinos this year--we will be virtual, offering lots of flexibility! PARCA is working with partners in Africa to prevent extinction of the rhino and to preserve its ecosystem. The funds raised go toward educating the public about rhino conservation and to our partners who are transporting rhinos out of high poaching areas, providing care for orphans left behind by poaching, and providing monitoring to keep rhino populations safe.
Rhinos are being killed at rates that outpace how quickly they can reproduce. We must act NOW to prevent extinction. Help us save a species!
Location: Wherever works best for you! We are virtual this year!
Amenities: A 5K running (1 mile walking) course wherever you prefer, t shirt, and PARCA swag. You must register by May 12th to guarantee a T shirt.
