Phoenixville Zombie Run 5K

Do you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse??

**WE HAVE ADDED A FREE 800M KID'S RACE! The Kid's Race will kick off slightly after the 5K. (It will not include zombies). 

Zomething Ztrange is happening in Phoenixville! What some residents thought was just a rash, has become a mad dash...for your life! (And to help support Phoenixville Area Community Services--PACS!!)

From the team that brought you the Blobfest 5K, comes the reincarnation of one of Phoenixville's most thrilling events. 3.1 miles of zombie-infested terrain stands between you and the safe zone. To survive, cross the finish line with at least one of your three flag-football style flags still in place.

When: Sunday October 21st at 9:00 am
Where: Phoenixville, PA Down under the Gay Street Bridge (The site of the Farmer's Market)

About the Course
This FLAT, FAST, and FUN course will begin under the Gay Street Bridge (the site of the Phoenixville Farmer's Market), continue over the Phoenix Column Truss Bridge and up a scenic section of the SRT beside French Creek. You'll complete a one-mile loop on a gravel/dirt trail through the woods before turning around at High Street. 

Giveaways

All participants who register by October 7th are guaranteed a unique Phoenixville Zombie Run race T-shirt.
Volunteering as a zombie is free, but does not include a T-Shirt. However, if you'd like a T-shirt, you'll have the option to purchase one for $10 (a $5 discount) when you sign up (before October 7th). 
 
Awards
For zombies: The zombies with the most flags will win special awards.
For Runners: Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in the 5K race. Medals will be awarded to the top three males and females in each of the following age groups:
 
14 & Under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 and over

Packet Pickup
Saturday October 20th from 11am to 5pm at the RUNegades tent at the Pumpkinfest street fair on Bridge Street in Phoenixville. 
You can also pick up your packet near the start/finish area on the day of the race starting at 7am.
 
Parking
There is plenty of parking in downtown Phoenixville within a short walk to the start/finish area. Check out this link for a clear map:

Bib-Transfers
While we do not offer refunds, we do allow for bib transfers. Bib transfers can be completed for free through our site at runsignup.com. The site will take care of the transfer; those who transfer their bibs will have to work out any payment agreement with the recipient on their own. We kindly ask that you do not use the FB event page to solicit bib transfers.
