Running and beer go together like "Peas and Carrots". Just ask Forrest Gump. In Pittsburgh, running and beer go together at Allegheny City Brewing on the Northside in Deutchtown. Runners from all over the Burgh and clubs from around the region have called Allegheny City Brewing home for years, especially the PBRRC. And one of their most famous beers is THE MOST DOPE IPA. This virtual race, in partnership with Allegheny City Brewing, encourages runners and walkers to lace up their shoes, run some miles and then come enjoy a delicious beer at Allegheny City Brewing soon. If this sounds good to you, come join us for this fun virtual race.
Pick your distance: 5k, 10k or 10 miles. Run or walk. Have fun. Post your results. Earn great SWAG. Drink a tasty beverage. It's as easy as that. All participants will receive the following:
- custom MOST DOPE finishers medal - THAT IS ALSO A BOTTLE OPENER!
- custom MOST DOPE race bib
- 1 complimentary pour of any ACB beer when they reopen after the Covid-19 crisis is over
- $5 off coupon to any future GCXC Race in Pittsburgh or Ohio.
Simply register, run your race your way, post your results and then when they reopen, stop in at Allegheny City Brewing to claim your SWAG and enjoy a delicious beer.
Registration will remain open until Sunday, May 31, 2020 and results can be posted until Sunday, June 14, 2020.

In light of the times are are living in, the Most Dope virtual races are designed to be RUN SOLO while following PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS as set forth in guidelines by the Allegheny County Health Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. You can run these any where you like, whenever you like. Near you house, downtown, in a local park or whenever you are able to social distance properly. So let's all be safe and run smart so that we can enjoy some delicious Allegheny City beer together soon!

MEDAL AND BIB DISTRIBUTION & COMPLIMENTARY POUR
After finishing your race, be sure to post your results by clicking the link here. POST RESULTS
Medals and bibs will be available for pick up at Allegheny City Brewing, located at 507 Foreland Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 beginning on Tuesday, June 16th OR whenever Pennsylvania allows the reopening of the brewery for regular operations. If the brewery is not open for regular business on June 16th, it will be on the first day of regular operations after that.
Simply stop in to Allegheny City Brewing, let the bartender know you ran the race, pick up your custom Most Dope race bib and Most Dope finishers medal, then enjoy a complimentary pour of your favorite Allegheny City Brewing beer.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Please bring your race confirmation with you when picking up your BIB AND MEDAL to allow the staff at Allegheny City Brewing the easiest way to identify you and get you your awards. Additionally, the complimentary pour is only available to those over the legal drinking age of 21 on the day they arrive to pick up their medal. If the participant is not of legal age, they are able to gift their complimentary pour to someone who is of legal age (with valid ID) at the time of pick up. All patrons at Allegheny City Brewing should be prepared to present their ID prior to being served.
