Yuengling Gold Rush 5K

Thank you for your patience as we've been exploring uncharted territory amidst the COVID-19 rapidly evolving developments.

On March 15, 2020, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended that all gatherings and events larger than 50 people be cancelled for the foreseeable future. In accordance with this recommendation, and with deep frustration and regret we are forced to make this most unfortunate of announcements: we will be unable to hold the 2020 Yuengling Gold Rush 5k in its original form. With an event our size, we are simply unable to practice the proper safe social distancing to keep COVID-19 coronavirus at bay. Additionally, our venue is closed for the foreseeable future making it impossible to host this wonderful event. The good news is that race is now virtual!

Per our policy we do not offer registration refunds. However, we want to make sure you can take a socially responsible run in style. Therefore, we will be mailing all runner items. 

GO VIRTUAL! - (ACTION REQUIRED): Take on our virtual challenge! Run a 5k on your own time and share your results [Race shirt, race bib, can koozies and pins will be mailed in approximately 8-10 weeks]. 

What Do I Do Next?

-To update your entry, Go to our race registration site and sign into your RunSignup account (it would have been created when you registered for the event so look for your confirmation email).

-Click manage registration next to your Yuengling Gold Rush 5K registration. 

-Click on the SHIPPING tab. Enter your preferred shipping address.

Thank you for understanding as we navigate these difficult times. If anyone out there feels upset and saddened based on this news, we share that emotion with you. We have been feverishly planning for this race for many months and it breaks out hearts to have to miss out on race day. We know you have all been looking forward to this day, too. All members of the race staff are working diligently every day to keep up with the latest updates. During this time and because of the speed at which the situation has been changing, please understand that decisions might change to adapt to the circumstances.
