CrossFit 843 Turkey Trot

Goal
The goal of CrossFit 843 & Palmetto Running Company in working with The Town of Bluffton is to provide all individuals an opportunity to get outside (run or walk), on Thanksgiving Day, with family and friends. Stroller friendly and dogs are always welcome. In a time where it is most important for physical and mental activity, The 5K route through historic downtown Bluffton will be a most positive start to your Thanksgiving

Registration. The fee for the race is $30. Kids under 12 $20. T-shirts provided for all participants.  Awards presented to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as top 3 finishers in each age divisions. Late registration and Packet pickup will be available on Wednesday November 25th at CrossFit 843 from 3-6pm. Late Packet pick up only on race day at the Oyster Factory Park 7:00-7:45AM. NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION. 

Heat Times
Heats starting at 8:00 and will be staggered depending on number of individuals who sign up. In effort to keep everyone safe and socially distant, there will be no “day of” registration.

COVID 19 Protocol
Due to Governor’s orders along with COVID-19 safety guidelines, all runners must wear a mask pre & post race. There will be no convening in big groups as safety is our #1 priority. During the race, runners may opt to take off mask but must put on mask immediately after completion of the race. Staging areas will be in place for all heat heats, socially distanced from one another. All participants will be given staging area numbers & heat information, at registration, at CrossFit 843 on Tuesday night.

Awards
Metals will be given out post race, as runners must stay in their Pre-5K staging area & must wear a mask. Awards presented to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as top 3 finishers in each of 8 age divisions. Divisions: <12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79.
