David's (Virtual) Rescue Race

Mon September 14 - Sun October 4

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of animals? Sign up for our virtual race where you can participate anywhere in the world on the date and time you choose. Run, walk, bike, swim, kayak, or ride horseback on your favorite, safe course and receive an awesome t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and Critter Kerchief! (The registration fee also covers the cost of shipping/handling and credit card processing!) Be sure to bring your pet along, whether it is real or not, and post a picture when you have completed your race. Of course, if you ride your horse, the finisher's medal goes to the horse!

This race is sponsored by The David Cervetti Animal Rescue Club, a group of 7th and 8th grade students, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School in Cordova, TN. This club has been busy making blankets and dog toys for local shelters, in addition to raising money to support animal rescue efforts around the world. Proceeds from this race will benefit:

  • The Turtle Hospital in Marathon Key, FL
  • The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN
  • Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, FL
  • Redemption Road Rescue in Jackson, TN
  • Save the Manatee Club in Maitland, FL
  • Local animal shelters

Thank you!
