5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Day of Race Registration - Online only until 1 pm race day.
Packet Pick Up: 1:15 - 2:25 PM
Parking: Available at the site, as well as the Maryville Municipal Parking Garage (128 W. Broadway Avenue). Possible overflow parking at First Baptist Church, Maryville as well. Please note that the FINISH LINE is at a separate location on Church Avenue (same area as previous Reindeer Run events) so please consider this when you are parking your vehicle this year based on your preference at the end of the race and for plans for storing your race packet.
Start Times (at the pavilion area): 5K Run 2:00 - 2:30 PM (small groups of people start soon after each other) 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk 2:45 PM
New Race Route for 2020: Due to COVID concerns, limiting the number of people starting at one time, and being able to use less EMS and volunteers, the course has changed for this year. The race will be held on the greenbelt as well as some area streets. See map for details at https://www.parksrec.com/special-events/triple-crown-running. STARTING LINE is near the pavilion in Jack Greene Park. Please note that the FINISH LINE is at a separate location on Church Avenue (same area as previous Reindeer Run events) so please consider this when you are parking your vehicle this year.
T-SHIRTS: All runners will receive a quality, cotton/poly blend T-shirt. Shirts will be available on the day of the race for day-of-race entries as long as supplies last. Those who do not get their packets on race day may pick them up at the Parks & Rec. office up to approximately 2 weeks after the race. No shirts will be able to be mailed.
AWARDS/PRIZES: Random drawing for door prizes will be done after the race and winners will be notified by email. Prizes and Age-group Awards can be picked up at the Parks & Rec office the week after the race. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group. All Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a ribbon. AGE DIVISIONS: Male: 8 and under, 9-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over Female: 8 and under, 9-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over Overall: Male and Female Masters: Male and Female (40 and older)
GENERAL INFORMATION: No baby strollers, bicycles, roller blades or dogs are allowed to be used by any participant during the race due to the race being partially on the narrow greenway and partially on the open street. The use of headsets is not recommended due to traffic on a portion of the race route.
Water: No water will be handed out on the race route this year due to COVID concerns, but bottled water will be available after the race for pick-up.
Refreshments: Will be included in your race packet for use after the race.
Charity Contribution: A portion of the proceeds from this race benefit the Empty Pantry Fund. https://www.emptypantryfund.com/about
