Run Up The Hill Race

The Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is excited for you to join our Run Up the Hill Virtual Family & Friends Race held at 12 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024

Your support will allow us to continue the chapter’s rich tradition of community service and charitable giving aimed toward the mentoring and education of children. In addition to the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, we will also support a local non-profit, Mt Calvary Herman Street CDC.

Mt. Calvary Herman Street Community Development Corporation (MCHScdc) is a young, independent nonprofit organization and a partner in the North Nashville Community Economic Development Consortium (NNCEDC). Its collaboration with the William F. Buchanan CDC, Family & Children’s Service and others expands its food insecurity eradication initiatives via a community garden located on Herman Street and 25th Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Jack and Jill of America Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Since its inception in 1968, the Foundation has distributed millions of dollars to communities all across America.

We invest in services, programs and organizations that focus on impacting the underlying issues affecting African American children and families. In so doing, the Foundation is fulfilling its shared vision with Jack and Jill of America, Inc., to invest in the future of our children. The Foundation supports programs that not only create opportunities and challenges for children to learn and practice leadership skills, but also build leadership character in youth. The ultimate goal of every Foundation grant dollar is to empower young people to make the right life choices.

Programs funded by the Foundation are improving academic test scores, raising literacy and mathematical competencies, encouraging cultural consciousness, and instilling moral and social responsibility in America’s youth.
