Description

The Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is excited for you to join our Run Up the Hill Virtual Family & Friends Race held at 12 pm on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Your support will allow us to continue the chapter’s rich tradition of community service and charitable giving aimed toward the mentoring and education of children.  In addition to the Jack and Jill Foundation, Inc., we will also support a local non-profit, Renewal House, their mission is to treat, promote healing and provide housing for women and their children affected by substance use disorders.

Who We're Helping:

The Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc. is the philanthropic arm of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and has awarded millions of dollars in annual grants to charitable organizations that provide help to children and young adults. The Foundation’s mission is “to promote the excellent preparation of succeeding generations of children as leaders, in all walks of life, so that they may attain their fullest potential as individuals, enjoy rewarding and fulfilling lives, and contribute to world peace, progress, and prosperity.” www.JackandJillFoundation.org.

Renewal House provides specialized, comprehensive addiction treatment and recovery programs for women and their children. They address the needs, issues and dynamics that are unique to a woman's recovery. Because they treat the whole person, they can break the cycle of addiction and restore lives that leave a positive legacy. Since 1996 Renewal House has focused on serving pregnant and parenting women and has impacted more than 7000 lives since inception. While in residence at Renewal House, mothers complete a program of recovery that integrates intensive outpatient treatment, case management, mental health counseling, parenting, vocational and life skills building into their daily schedule. The children receive early intervention and prevention services. Their primary goal is for moms to become sober. Renewal House has a waiting list of more than 60 women in need of its services and it is working diligently to accommodate those families with a current expansion project in progress.   Renewal House also provides affordable rental apartments for families in recovery. The rental apartments give families a chance to establish long-term stability and economic self-sufficiency in a drug-free environment.  https://www.renewalhouse.org.
