Description

A fun and competitive race that will start and end at River Legacy Park located in Arlington, TX.  The race is organized by Nikesha Papillion and Trishonna Papillion-Winston.  Run With Our Vets & Beat RCC to provide support to our nation’s disabled Vets and to help raise awareness for Renal Cell Carcinoma. Beneficiary

Net proceeds will provide financial  and community support to our nation’s disabled Vets. The race is also to raise awareness about Renal Cell Carcinoma. It is being held in honor of  the organizers’ father, Erron Papillion, who served our country in the Vietnam War, and received many medals of honor, including 4 Purple Hearts, The Silver Star and The Distinguished Service Cross. He passed away in 2011 from a rare form of renal cancer.

Awards

Awards to 1st Overall male and female finishers, 1st Masters male and female finishers. Top 3 finishers in the following age/gender groups also will be awarded: 9 & Under,  10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over. Ribbons to all 1 Mile finishers.
