Project Advance Annual 5K - Austin

Project Advance is a new way of fundraising - providing financial assistance directly to individuals who live in the communities where our events are held.

There are a lot of hard-working people around us who have fallen on tough times and need a helping hand. An accident at work, unexpected medical bills, loss of a business, or any number of other causes, create situations where people don’t know where to turn, and often don’t want to ask for help. 

Anyone can submit a request for themself or someone they know. We vet submissions and select as many as possible within the community each event is held in, and then provide funds directly from event proceeds. No middle man, no bureaucracy – just immediate, direct grants to help people get back on their feet.
