Description
The FLR Summer 5k Series is here! We will have 6 virtual races that you can participate in. You will receive a medal for each race you complete and they will all fit together into a larger medal. While we are not allowed to host events at Millican Reserve, you can sign up for a Millican Trail Membership which is free till the end of August and we will mark some routes for members.
Your ranking and awards will be based on time. At the end, overall and age group awards will be sent. Age groups will be calculated based on your age at the first event and will be every 10 years.
You will have 3 days to complete each 5k with Week 1 starting 7/10. There will be 2 week, skip a week (for those who need to recover) and continue that way till all 6 weeks have taken place. You will txt your results, instructions will follow.
Each week you run is a $10 fee. This will include a finisher medal and awards you may win but that is it.
If you preregister for all 6 races you will receive $10 off. (saves you on fees also - total is $53)
