Pioneer Pace 5k Fun Run/Walk

Together to reduce local hunger and food insecurity! 

The Food & Nutrition Network is proud to present the 28th annual, Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk on Saturday March 26th, 2022 at 8:30 am. All proceeds will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank that serves over 146,000 households every year, and the North Texas Food Bank that provides over 70 million meals every year to local hungry and food insecure people. Any donations of $25 or more will receive a shirt as long as supplies last. Those that donate will receive an email from PioneerPace2022@gmail.com to confirm shirt sizes

The race takes place around the beautiful TWU campus.  It starts and finishes at the Old Main Circle. We expect about 150 people in attendance this year.  The Top 3 adults and Top 3 kids under 12 years of age will be awarded medals. Gift certificates and other awesome prizes will also be available via raffle.  Each preregistered runner receives 1 (one) raffle ticket in their goodie bag.  Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on race day.  MUST be present to Win!!! T-Shirts are only guaranteed if you register by March 1st 2021!

Please plan to arrive by 7:30 am to pick up your race packet and/or register if you didn’t do it before. Before the race you may also have fun meeting our sponsors, checking out the raffle prizes, and taking pictures. Race announcements and dynamic warm-up will start by 8:15 am, so everyone is ready to start the 5k or 2 mile run, fun run/walk by 8:30 am.
