Description
The Breast Cancer Awareness 5K/9K is an annual event sponsored by the healthcare professionals of the 59th Medical Wing. The planning, coordination, logistical support, race medals, bibs and refreshments have been provided entirely by compassionate volunteers and supportive donors. This event is completely FREE! Anyone and everyone that has access onto the base is welcome to attend. Jog strollers and leashed pets are welcome!
Breast cancer is a condition that affects so many in our country both directly and indirectly. It is important that we all come together as the Joint Base San Antonio community to support those that are currently fighting breast cancer, to celebrate with those that have survived breast cancer and to honor those that breast cancer has taken from us.
