The Shiner Beer Run
Join us for the 14th Annual Shiner Beer Run, benefiting the Boot Campaign! Lace up for a Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K through the heart of historic Shiner, Texas.
*We are now sold out of the half marathon! We have physical space limitations that restrict our capacity for the event. We do not expect to open up additional space and are not taking a waitlist. You can add you remail to our contact list via the pop up on this website. We will email any updates to that email list.
The courses showcase the best of Shiner—gently rolling hills, charming downtown streets, welcoming neighborhoods, scenic Green-Dickson Park, peaceful countryside, and the unforgettable “Manure Mile.”
The cutoff date to garuntee your name on your bib and a participant's t-shirt is October 22nd!

Parking is limited near the grounds- if you need additional parking please park in the town square located 2 blocks from the grounds
Post Race Festivities
Following the race, stick around and join us for some fun! Featuring live music from The Emotions, cold Shiner beer & craft cocktails, and good old home cooking. You can also sign up for the Spoetzl Brewery and Distillery Tour.
Brewery tours during the event are $10 per person and operated on a first come, first served basis beginning at 10:30am. You can sign up at the WELCOME CENTER. Limited to 25 people per tour.

- Please pick up your bib before race day for the smoothest experience.
- No on-site changes: Event/distance changes must be done in your RunSignUp account before race day (see FAQ).
- If you run a different distance than you’re registered for on race day, you will not qualify for awards.
Pre-race Meal
Join us for a pre-race meal on the evening of November 21st for a spagetti dinner that includes a side salad and garlic bread! You can pre-purchase the meal for $15 through the online store.
