The CASA 5K Superhero Run/Walk is Back - This Year We're Going Virtual!
We are so excited to invite you to join this year's virtual race and are asking you to become physically-distanced Superheroes to help our community's kids! We hope this will give you and your family a fun activity to enjoy together. You can complete the 5K run/walk or kids 1 mile fun run any time through June 30, 2020, and submit your results via this website.
Superhero Costume Contest
We are also continuing our Superhero Costume Competition via Instagram using #SuperHeroForADay. Be sure to take your picture and tag us on Instagram @rvacasasuperherorun or upload your picture to this site.
We will offer prizes from local businesses for:
- Best Adult Costume
- Best Kid Costume
- Best Family Costume
- Best Physical Distancing Costume
Superhero Swag
Even though we're virtual this year, you'll still get real swag! Your $25 registration includes:
- Special Edition T-Shirt (optional shirt for kids is $15)
- Virtual Race Bib
- Online Finisher Certificate
About CASA
Henrico and Chesterfield CASA are nonprofit organizations committed to advocating for the best interests of children involved in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court process. The CASA program recruits, screens, trains, and supervises competent volunteers dedicated to representing the needs of abused and neglected children, as well as other at-risk children in juvenile dependency proceedings. CASA promotes safe, permanent homes for all children and seeks to educate the community concerning the needs of abused and neglected children.
