Description

3rd Annual Navy Federal Credit Union 5K - Winchester

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026

Where: 141 Security Drive Winchester, VA 22602

The race beneficiary is Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity. Timing for this event is provided by Good Times Event Services. Awards are given for top male/female/hand cyclist or wheelchair user overall finishers and top three male/female user in each age group. Water is provided during and after the race, and food and refreshments are available at the post-race gathering.

Coffee will be available for purchase through The Station Mobile Cafe.

Please Note: Registration fees are non-refundable and the race will be held rain or shine. Dogs are not eligible to participate in this year’s 5K event.

· 7:30 am – DJ starts playing music/participants gather

· 7:50 am – Pre-Race Announcements

· 7:58 am – National Anthem

· 8:00 am – 5K Race Starts for Wheelchair Division

· 8:02 am – 5K Race Starts for other categories

· 9:00 am – Sammie Sprint Warm Up

· 9:05 am – Sammie Sprint Starts

· 9:20 am – Awards Ceremony

Awards

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

-Top Male and Top Female Navy Federal Employee/Contractor finishers.

-Top Male and Top Female Wheelchair division finishers.

-Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers.

-Age Group Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers (based upon net time) in the following age groups: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & up.
