With much disappointment, we have cancelled the Black Cat Glow Relay that was set for October 23, 2021. As of today, the City of Port Orchard has not given final approval due to Covid-19.
All participants will be issued full refunds.
We still hope to bring this awesome community event to Port Orchard in 2022.

Description

Get ready for a spooktacularly ghoulish night adventure!

TRICK OR TREATING: Start the night with a trick or treat event along the pedestrian trail. Our themed actors will be handing out goodies from 5:30pm-6:30pm for families with children (12 and under). Head out from the park, stop at the different not-so-scary sections of the pedestrian trail for some safe Halloween trick or treating before the relay starts at 7pm.

FOR THE RELAY: 2-4 people per team. Each person on the team will run or walk the pedestrian trail from Port Orchard Waterfront Park down to the end at Hi-Tide Tavern and return, releasing their next teammate to do the next leg. Do this 4 times! Each leg is just under 1 mile in length. Can't get anyone to join you? We will allow single persons to do ALL FOUR LEGS!

Every team is encouraged to complete all 4 relay legs, regardless of how many are on your team.

This event will not be timed, so go out and have fun along the course!

Be ready to run fast as you pass the Scare sections of the course, interactive areas along the course that'll get your heart thumping!**

**These areas will be marked with neon tape on the ground and separated along the course. None of the themed actors will have physical contact with you and we insist you do not physically reach out to them as well for the safety of everyone.

Be warned! They will interact with you if you dare to look directly at them! Free Movie Event following relay at 8:40pm. Hang out with us and watch Hocus Pocus at the gazebo.

Food trucks will be at the park! No need to worry about feeding the family before heading to the park.

Registration prices for Children 17 and under are cheaper than Adult prices.
4 years and younger are free!
Please note that children 4 and under do not receive a t-shirt. They may be purchased during checkout.
