Run Away From Drugs 5k

The Run Away From Drugs 5k is open to anyone with no minimum/maximum age. The course is almost completely flat and will begin at the East Liverpool City Hospital on W 5th Street and take runners and walkers through the East Liverpool Downtown Historic District. The overall winner for both male/female will receive a custom award and there will also be awards for the top finishers in the following age groups: Under 14, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Race day registration begins at 9:00AM with the 5k set to start at 10:00 AM.  Following the race, runners and walkers are encouraged to participate in the community event scheduled until 1:00PM in the parking lots across from St. Aloysius Church. Various vendors will be set up including food, music, children's activities, a dunk tank and other community resources. There will also be a free Kid's Dash for children 8 and under starting at 9:30AM (registration required).
