The Junior League of Asheville is excited to have you join us in the Be the Change Challenge, a 5K fundraiser to be held on April 15th with a virtual option April 1st - 16th. JLA encourages registrants to skip, hop, walk, run, or race the event, which will also act as a fundraiser for the JLA. Funds raised for this event will directly support the Be the Change Grant and programs of the Junior League of Asheville.
JLA will be awarding $5,000 through the Be the Change Grant to regional Western North Carolina nonprofits, with a focus on organizations that serve vulnerable individuals and children. For more information, please visit https://asheville.jl.org/.
In person: April 15th 8:30am registration, 9am start time
Virtual: Between April 1st - April 16th
Early Bird Registration - through 3/23
$40 (includes shirt & drink ticket for Pleb)
Participants registering prior to March 23rd will receive their t-shirt prior to the event** at an in-person pickup. See details below.
Regular Registration - March 24-April 15
$45 (+ $7.50 shipping for those who would like a t-shirt)
Participants registering between March 24th and April 15th have the option to pay for shipping or opt out of an event t-shirt.
***Registrations completed prior to 3/24 may pick up their shirts at the location/date below for no additional cost. After 3/24, the option will change to receiving no shirt or having the shirt shipped for an additional $7.50 fee.
In person t-shirt pick up will be offered at:
HI-Wire Brewery Big Top on Tuesday April 11th from 5:30 - 8pm
Pleb Urban Winery on Saturday, April 15th from 8:30am - 12pm
