Saturday January 15, 2022, The Half Marathon starts at 9:00 AM
Last year we had to adjust the course due to COVID. For the 40th annual event we have decided to go back to the Point to Point race course. However, if things change we will reserve the right to alter the course.
The race will now start at Indian Hills Elementary School in Topeka and end at the Fire house in Auburn, Kansas.
There is also a Virtual Option for those who cannot join us.

2016 course description: >>> Start west of Indian Hills Elementary on Indian Hills Road, south to 33rd St., east to Fountaindale Dr., Fountaindale Dr. east with the first mile near Dukeries Rd. Continue east on Fountaindale Dr. to Urish Rd. going a short distance north on Urish Road to 33rd St., 33rd St. west with mile 2 just past Dukeries Rd. on 33rd. Follow 33rd St. west crossing over to the north side of the road past Indian Hills Road to turn right onto El Cerrito Dr. Take El Cerrito Dr. north then west going past Lagito Dr. The 3 mile mark is on El Cerrito Dr. near the turnaround at the entrance to a circle dead end. Continue on El Cerrito Dr. after turning around back to the 33rd St. and Indian Hills intersection, continue south on Indian Hills Road with the 4 mile location south of the Indian Hills and 37th St./Falcon Rd. intersection. Follow Indian Hills Road south turning left onto 41st St. going east. Shortly after the 5 mile location, turn right onto Aylesbury, left onto 43rd Street, left onto Eagle Point Rd. before accessing Urish Road south of 41st Street, turning right and continue heading south on Urish Road for the next three and 1/2 miles, with Urish Hill looming near the halfway point of the race. Continue south on Urish Road past miles 7 and 8, where the pavement ends at 61st Street and the next four miles become true country roads, which may be hard-packed or may be covered with gravel and may or may not be ice and or snow covered. Turn right heading west onto 69th Street passing mile 9. Turn left heading south upon leaving 69th Street onto Indian Hills Road and be greeted by the TCF aid station shortly before crossing the ten mile location. Continue south on Indian Hills Road for the next two miles, passing mile 11 before turning right onto pavement again heading west on 85th Street. The 12 mile mark is just after that corner, continue going west on 85th Street turning at the city limit sign for Auburn at Hanover Street. Turn left heading south onto Hanover Street, then right one short block onto 11th going west, then south again onto Franklin street. The 13 mile location is near the corner of Franklin St. as it turns right onto 10th Street. The finish line now comes into view near the Auburn Fire Station.
Five aid stations with water and Gatorade will be spaced along the course. Aid station locations will be at the turnaround (3.0 miles), the top of Urish HIll (6.5 miles), Urish Road shortly past mile 8, at the corner of 69th Street and Indian Hills Road near mile 10 and shortly before turning onto 85th Street and mile 12.
