Rural Route 13.1

The Rural Route 13.1 offers a variety of events that take runners, walkers, and bikers along a scenic tour of rural Jewell County Kansas. Rolling hills challenge participants while providing stunning views of the countryside. After crossing the finish line, everyone is invited to enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast made from locally-sourced food. All participants will receive a performance material t-shirt, customized race bib, and the opportunity to personalize their own finisher medal - a limestone rock, native to Jewell County.

The Rural Route 13.1 has races for all ages and levels to experience.  Each race has an adult (18 and over) and youth (17 and under) category.  Adult races are $40; youth races are $20.

If you're seeking a competitive race, we offer cash prizes to top placers.  If a morning of family time and fresh air is more your pace, our event is family friendly.  For those members of your household not old enough to participate, jogging strollers and bike trailers are welcome. 

Packet pick-up and registration will be available the evening before the event as well as from 7:00-7:45 AM on race day.

10k Races being at 8 AM; 13.1 mile races will begin immediately after.  Breakfast will begin being served at 8:30 and will continue until the last participant finishes!
