We would like to remember Ron and Scott Strader and Tom Davies who have left a legacy for our community by being active members in the trails being made at Banner Creek Reservoir, a supporter for the Holton High School Football, Holton Optimist Club, Banner Creek Observatory and Science Center and the students’ education at the Holton Schools. We couldn’t have thought of a better way to remember these extraordinary men than to have a Memorial Run in their honor at Banner Creek Reservoir for their love and passion for running. Join us for the 1st Annual Ron & Scott Strader and Tom Davies Memorial Run at Banner Creek Reservoir at 8am. Medals will be awarded to the top 1st, 2nd and, 3rd male and female finishers. Proceeds will be donated to the Banner Creek Community Shelter house project.
If you would like to order a t-shirt and do not plan to participate you may place a t-shirt order here under the "More" tab and then click on "Store" located at the top right corner of the website.
Money raised from the event will be donated toward the Banner Creek Community Shelter house project located at Banner Creek Reservoir. The fully enclosed, temperature controlled facility with a kitchen setting can be used year-round for weddings, re-unions, family gatherings, day camps and other community and business events in Jackson County. The proposed building capacity is 150 and will include outside usable areas with a covered patio.
