D.S. Rubicklon Challenge

This is a three part challenge to take place consecutively!

The term "RUBICK" simply means "Run-Bike-Ruck", we challenge you to train for it, try it, and triumph over finishing it! It is a 4 mile run, 10 mile bicycle race, and ends with the 2 mile ruck walk carrying 30lbs or more. These events must be complete in this order. The goal is to complete the entire challenge in under 2.5 hours.  Simply put, the Dilbert RUBICK is nothing more than a variation of the triathlon and duathlon. 

This race is to celebrate Summer Madness on July 25, 2021 starting at 07:30hrs until complete.

Proceeds from this race will go to the Sole Sergeants Association to help their scholarship drive. 

All competitors must run at the start of the gun 2 miles down the JC Riverwalk trail and return to the start line to mount their bicycle. Each racer will ride their bicycle 5 miles down the trail and return back to the start line to dismount and pickup their ruck sack that must be weighed by an race official prior to the start of the ruck walk. Each ruck sack must weigh 30 pounds or more and be marked with a tag before take off. The time for each transition will be recorded but the overall time is what counts the most. The goal is to complete all three events in less than 2 hours. 

This race is open to only 30 runners in person in Junction City, Kansas. This race allows amateur runners to register for an chance to win a their Registration Fee back for the first Overall finisher.

Participants can participate for no registration fee - Free

Racers fee - $55

The overall finisher will receive $55 (for in person racers ONLY).

First place age groups for Male & Female finisher will receive a prize.

• Team Attendance trophies will be issued to the group with the largest number of registered participants.
• All race participants will receive a special finisher medal at the finish line. T Shirts will be available for $15.
• Race day registration will include an additional $10 administration fee.

The first 10 race participants that register before July 4th will be guaranteed a FREE short-sleeve race shirt with their paid registration*. After this date, shirts and sizes are not guaranteed.
