Family 101 5K

The Family 101 event began with a focus on the Wyandotte County Zip Code 66101 with the objective of getting back to the basic fundamentals of family and community. It has now grown to include the entire Wyandotte County area as well as the surrounding Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area. Our theme is: Let's Move WYCO, with a focus this year on Fetal and Infant Mortality. The NBCCDC has partnered with Children's Mercy & Shawnee Mission Health to bring awareness to this great epidemic within our community through the project Every Baby to 1 (http://www.everybabyto1.org). Our goal is 500 registered people completing the Walk/Run/Bike course. There is a very minimal registration fee associated with the walk, but the Health Fair and Block Party are completely free to the community
