Description
How far will you go to run a mile?
TOM - The Oberlin Mile - is open to all runners (and walkers) of all competitive levels, all abilities and age groups. The run(s) will be a morning street race on the brick streets of Oberlin, Kansas. The event will consist of separate and distinct runs, intended for everyone - serious competition, and serious fun!

* Competitive 1-Mile Men’s Race
* Competitive 1-Mile Women’s Race
For all age groups. The coveted and legendary "Yellow Jersey" awarded for the first-place finishers of the Men's and Women's races.
* Family and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
Trophies awarded for top three (3) over-all and medals awarded for the top three (3) of age group.
TOM's 1-mile Course is USA Track & Field Certified, and is a rectangular pattern, through downtown, “On the Bricks” of Oberlin.
All net proceeds will be awarded by percentage of participation to all elementary, junior high and high school Athletic and Physical Education Programs represented - according to their respective registered participants, either runners, walkers or event volunteers.http://oberlinmile.vpweb.com/
