Empowering People to Connect, Heal, and Thrive
The prescription for a healthier mental outlook is Physical Activity. exercise is essential for a healthier, positive mental perspective. This event will draw attention and help to reduce the stigma of seeking help for our mental health. Coping skills, including physical exercise, community involvement, volunteering, and connectedness to others, are proven to improve mental/physical health and prevent self-harm. Join us as we empower our community to connect, heal, and thrive.
Talk 2 Me Fall4U 5k and 10K run/walk, Sunday Oct. 4, 2026
· Saturday, October 3, 2026, Packet Pickup: Talk2Me
Packet Pickup: Country Club Bank, located at 135th and Briar in Leawood.
We will have packets in the first-floor conference room of the bank from 10 AM- 12 PM
Bank doors lock promptly at noon, so plan accordingly. I can't wait to see everyone there:)

About Talk to Me:
Talk2Me is a 501c3 whose mission is to empower people to connect, heal, and thrive in our schools and communities. We provide education, an open sharing platform, and an action and accountability plan to connect individuals with safe help. We offer counseling grants to those in need. Many who come to us are suffering from addictions and mental illness. We also provide grants to women and young people to advance their education, careers, and faith development. We added the Talk 2 Me Mental Health Advocacy Scholarship in 2022, funding rising first-year college students committed to mental and physical health.
